NTET SpA Group Crime Prevention
Corruption is a bad habit that does not specifically concern a single country or single sectors of the economy and entails a series of negative implications both from a legal point of view, being a crime, and from a social point of view.
The NTET SpA Group wants to actively contribute to the fight against corruption by adopting a Management System for the Prevention of Corruption according to the requirements indicated by the UNI ISO 37001:2016 standard and with the commitment of the leadership to create a culture based on integrity, transparency, honesty and compliance with laws.
The Management System for the Prevention of Corruption implemented by NTET, in fact, is represented by a set of activities designed and implemented with an integrated and synergistic approach, aimed at the continuous improvement of performance and the containment of the risks of corruption also by operating in synergy with the other compliance tools already integrated by the company in the Organisational, Management and Control Model pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001.
NTET, in fact, has adopted and has been implementing for years an Organisation, Management and Control model in compliance with the provisions of Legislative Decree 231/01, in the form of an Administrative Responsibility Management System (SGRA), with the related Code of Ethics, which can be downloaded from our website.
To supervise the 231 Model, a Monocratic Supervisory Body has been designated, in the person of the President of Asso 231, Ing. Ciro Alessio Strazzeri, certified by KHC for the skills of 231 Expert, 231 Auditor and OdV Member, with which it is possible communicate via the following PEC address: ciroalessio.strazzeri@ingpec.eu.
For monitoring the correct implementation of the Management System for the Prevention of Corruption, according to the provisions of the UNI ISO 37001:2016 standard, the Compliance Function for the Prevention of Corruption was designated, currently headed by Dr. Mia Rupcic, with which it is possible to communicate via the following PEC address: mia.rupcic@pec.it.
In compliance with the provisions of UNI ISO 37001:2016 and Law 179/2017 which governs, among other things, the protection of employees who report alleged offenses (so-called Whistleblowing) for companies that adopt a "231 Model", NTET has established the possibility for anyone to make detailed reports in good faith and to protect the integrity of the company, based on precise and concordant factual elements, of unlawful conduct (even if only suspected or based on reasonable beliefs) relevant pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 and/or violations in general of Model 231 or of the Management System for the Prevention of Corruption, of which he has become aware due to the functions performed, also guaranteeing appropriate protections for the whistleblower not to suffer retaliation from the of society.
In this regard, the following alternative channels have been established:
- by email, to the addresses indicated above, directly to the Compliance Function for the Prevention of Corruption and/or the 231 Supervisory Body (depending on the case);
- through the use of an IT channel, which guarantees the confidentiality of the data contained in the report through secure protocols and encryption tools that make it possible to protect personal data and information, including those included in any attachments.
NTET SpA has defined its Policy regarding the Prevention of Corruption, which includes:
- Strict and full compliance with current legislation on the prevention and fight against corruption, in Italy and in any country where NTET SpA operates;
- The absolute prohibition of engaging in behavior that could be considered as bribery or bribery attempt;
- The identification, within the scope of one's own activities, of the areas of potential risk and the identification and implementation of suitable actions to reduce/minimize the risks themselves;
- The commitment to plan and implement one's policies and actions in such a way as not to be involved in any way in cases or attempts of a corruptive nature and not to risk involvement in situations of an illicit nature with public or private entities;
- Raising awareness among business partners so that they adopt, in the activities of specific competence, policies and actions for the prevention of corruption phenomena;
- The awareness and training of its employees and managers on the issues of prevention of the corruption phenomenon;
- Methods of reporting, via the Web, any illegal behavior or behavior in violation of the Anti-Corruption Policy and/or the 231 Model, directly to the Corruption Prevention Compliance Function and/or the 231 Supervisory Body (depending on the case) , of suspicions in good faith, or based on a reasonable belief, without fear of retaliation;
- The prosecution of any behavior that does not comply with the policy for the prevention of corruption with the application of the organization's disciplinary system, which has already been in force for years for the purpose of implementing Model 231
- The presence of a compliance function for the prevention of corruption, which is granted full authority and independence;
- The commitment to continuous improvement of corruption prevention activities, thanks to the monitoring activities established within the Corruption Prevention Management System implemented in accordance with the UNI ISO 37001:2016 standard.
