SMC Technology
SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) is a composite material used in compression molding, consisting of resin and glass fibers at 25%-30%. Molding requires powerful presses (1000T/m²) and heated molds at 150°C. The resulting parts are precise, with variable thicknesses and thermal expansion similar to metals. Komposita operates presses up to 5000 tons for the production of SMC parts.
