The enclosure is manufactured in SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound) fiberglass, grey RAL 7001, ensuring high mechanical strength, resistance to weathering, and excellent dielectric insulation. The structure is designed for wall or pole mounting and for housing the ENEL B-CBT base intended for the C-BT concentrator.
The enclosure features a ribbed door with 120° opening and full removability, allowing easy internal access. Passive ventilation is provided through side louvers with insect mesh, also suitable for installing an optional fan. The lower section includes two pre-drilled cable entry holes for power supply and wiring, compatible with PG36 and PG21 glands. The enclosure is equipped with an ENEL lock system acting on three locking points.
The enclosure complies with CEI EN 61439-5 (/A1) and ENEL prescriptions DS4931, DH2480, and DS4974, covering flame resistance, impact resistance, and degree of protection. The degree of protection is IP34D according to CEI EN 60529, with surface tracking resistance PTI 500 in accordance with IEC 60112.
