Structure and materials

Manufactured from grey RAL 7001 SMC (Sheet Moulding Compound), the enclosure provides high mechanical strength, electrical insulation and durability under outdoor environmental conditions. The ribbed door with captive hinges allows easy access during metering and maintenance operations.

Functionality

The stacked design doubles the available internal space and enables modular configurations with additional enclosures (up to 3–4 units). Internal labyrinth ventilation ensures natural air circulation without compromising the IP44 protection rating. The cabinet is designed to house single-phase and three-phase metering groups, terminal blocks and special applications mounted on a base plate.

Compliance

The cabinet complies with CEI EN 61439-5 (/A1) standards and ENEL technical specifications DS4931 and DS4549. Certified performance includes 20 J impact resistance, flame resistance >80 points according to DS4974, and tracking resistance PTI 500 in accordance with IEC 60112.
